OMVE has the technologies and experience to blend, process and fill and seal liquid foodstuff inline on small scale. This enables you to simulate an industrial line and produce most liquid products on a very small scale.
The Pilot Plant can consists of:
Blending the product
A 10, 20 or 50 litre open product vessel is supplied with a separate agitator.
Alternative one of the Multi-Purpose Process Vessels (MPV) can be installed. The MPV’s are closed double jacketed process vessels with a wide range of different options.
HTST / UHT Heat Treat the product
The heat treatment systems (HT range) can be supplied with a
- Tube in Tube Heat Exchanger
- Plate Heat Exchanger
- Steam Injection
- Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger
- Continuous Flow Micro Wave
Systems can be supplied in:
Nom. flow 20l/hr @ 150ºC flow range 10 - 50 l/hr
Nom. flow 50l/hr @ 150ºC flow range 30 - 80 l/hr
Nom. flow 100/hr @ 150ºC flow range 60 - 150 l/hr
Nom. flow 200l/hr @ 150ºC flow range 100 - 250 l/hr
Homogenise / Deaerate the product
For optimum processing, homogenising (HP-range) and deaeration (DEA range) are essential steps for the product characteristics and/or shelf life. The equipment is seamless integrated with the Heat Treatment Systems.
Buffering the product
The buffering or fermentation section is part of the system, but has its own CIP or SIP cycle. This gives must more flexibility and efficiency. You can fill the product from one buffer tank and fill another buffer tank with new product.
Filling / Closing
For an integrated system the Clean-Fill and the Asepto-Fill (FS range) are the most suitable filling benches. The benches can be supplied with internal closing devices and with a feed in and a feed out to increase production.
Depending on the requirements the process line is available in Hygienic or Aseptic execution.
